At first glance, this sounds incredibly cynical, almost like an endorsement to become a con artist. But Chanakya wasn’t telling people to be corrupt; he was warning them to stop being naive. There’s a massive difference between having integrity and being a sucker. In a world where opportunistic people love to exploit good intentions, blind honesty isn’t a virtue—it’s a liability.
